Dame-Jasmine Hughes gives the kind of towering performance that sticks with you for years.

This critically acclaimed, OBIE and IVEY award-winning actress from the Mississippi Delta is an alumna of The Piney Woods School.
   She graduated cum laude from Tougaloo College, B.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities/ Mass Communication and later learned her M.F.A from California Institute of the Arts in Acting.
   Hughes has over 15 years of radio experience and 6 years in education/ instructional experience; notably and most recently at Stanford University and University of Minnesota.
She completed humanitarian work in Kenya, as an Operations Crossroads Africa volunteer in 2016.
The former beauty queen is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, creator of series ANGRY BLACK B@&$%#!, Head of Content Development for  BLACK WITH NO CHASER, and a MC/Songwriter.
